Olive oil caviar is small caviar-sized spheres that produce a burst of flavour in the mouth. If you are catering for customers who like visually-appealing food that is tasty and healthy at the same time, then this is a great product for you to try.
Any chef who has attempted spherification knows that it is time-consuming and needs extreme precision to get a consistent product. Now there is a simple way to enhance your food presentation and the eating experience without compromising quality.
About Olive Oil Caviar
The technique was pioneered by the famous Spanish chef, Ferran Adria at El Bulli in 2003. Now there is a convenient way for you to get a great looking, great tasting product without needing a degree in chemistry.
Olive oil caviar is droplets of high-quality extra virgin olive oil encased in a thin membrane. It melts in the mouth, producing a pop of intense flavour.
These translucent, golden pearls are made from Arbequina, Picual, Hojiblanca varieties of extra virgin olive oil. They produce an aromatic, fruity, mildly bitter yet sweet buttery taste.
The spheres are made with alginates to produce a thin membrane which encapsulates the liquid Spanish olive oil. The caviar is packed in olive oil to preserve the shape and to prevent them sticking together or bursting.

Olive Oil Caviar Product Information
Serve at a minimum at room temperature. They will melt above approx. 55°C.
Storage:
Store in a dry, cool, place, protected from light and odours.
Make sure the jar is closed tight to prevent the olive oil in the jar from oxidising.
